She has coached senior business people to overcome their fears of making a presentation, empowered charity shop volunteers to become excellent sales people and helped individuals to develop into effective teams.
As Training Manager with an international charity rescuing victims of human trafficking and slavery, over the past two years Sue has trained some 5000 frontline police, social workers, healthcare professionals and third sector workers, to understand human trafficking and modern slavery, how to spot the signs and what action to take in response. She also managed a Ministry of Justice funded contract, secured via the West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, to provide human trafficking training to 4500 police officers, local authority workers and non-government organisations throughout the region.
Sue’s impactful and comprehensive training is now in demand by corporate and commercial organisations, looking to fulfil their obligations under the Modern Slavery Act and recognising the need for training from an industry expert.
